Dress It Up
Project of the Month
We are going to be providing crafters with the opportunity to view some of our designers' craft ideas and follow our instructions to make the craft shown. These crafts will be seasonally appropriate and we are sure that any crafter will have fun creating them and will wind up with a beautiful new piece.

Materials Quantity
Paper mache box 1
Paintbrushes several different sizes
Paint pick colors according to the box that you want to make
Hot glue gun and glue sticks 1 glue gun, multiple glue sticks
Wire 1 roll
Pencils 2
Nail clippers or wire snips 1 pair
Dress It Up Jack O Lanterns  1 (actual pack usage will depend on personal styling preferences)
Dress It Up Fright Night 3 (actual pack usage will depend on personal styling preferences)
Dress It Up Candy Corn 1 (actual pack usage will depend on personal styling preferences)
Dress It Up Hocus Pocus 1 (actual pack usage will depend on personal styling preferences)
Dress It Up Scaredy Cat 1 (actual pack usage will depend on personal styling preferences)
Dress It Up Haunted Woods 1 (actual pack usage will depend on personal styling preferences)

Directions:

1. Paint box according to picture. Make sure you paint the interior of the box, too! Let dry.

2. Wrap the wire around the end of a paintbrush or pencil to create 3 coils. Use the snippers (or clippers) to cut them to length. Make a loop at
both ends.

3. Snip the shanks off any buttons that you wish to use.

4. Glue the buttons to the top loop on each of the wire coils. Use 2 buttons so the wire is in between them.

5. Glue the rest of the buttons on to the box according to the picture.

6. Wrap the wire strands 1-2 times around the pencils. Place the pencils and wire across the top of the box's interior. The pencils will hold the wires in place while you glue them and while the glue dries.

7. Place wrapped candy, confetti or other small item of your choice in the bottom of the box.
